Your journal stays yours
Your gratitude entries are private to your account. They are not published, shown to other players, or used as marketing.
This is a place to notice your own life in your own words. You do not need to write for an audience.
Your account and progress
Your account uses a username, email address, and password to let you sign in. The game stores your gratitude entries and the progress associated with them, including your Gratitude Dollar balance and streaks.
Your timezone is captured at signup so your game day follows your local midnight. The full policy still needs to explain data collection and use in detail.
What the leaderboard shows
The Gratitude Wealth List shows player usernames and accumulated GTD totals, alongside their ranking. It does not show the titles or explanations from your journal.
Your public username is the name other players see on that list. Your email address does not appear there.
Reflective sounds
The ten reflective soundscapes are generated by your browser when you press Play. They do not load third-party recordings, and we do not send your listening choice to a music provider.
Services that help run the game
Supabase provides account authentication and database hosting; Vercel hosts the website. If you enable push, your browser’s push service delivers reminders. Paystack is planned for real-money checkout, and we intend to keep payment references and status rather than card details. Checkout is not active yet.
An email service will be named here before production email reminders and public account email delivery are enabled. Hosting providers may process technical logs such as IP address and browser details to operate and secure the service.
Your choices and requests
You can edit your profile, leave the Wealth List, and change reminder settings. To ask for a copy of your data or account deletion, sign in and use Profile → Your data and account. An admin reviews the request and updates its status; deletion is not immediate.
We keep account and game data while your account is active. Precise deletion and backup retention periods, and any legally required payment-record retention, will be set before public launch.
